In a small village, a farmer owed huge money to village moneylender. Due to misfortune farmer was unable to pay the amount. Moneylender always fancied farmers daughter so he purposed a bargain. He said he would forget farmers debt if he could marry farmers daughter. Both farmer and his daughter were horrified by this proposal. So, Moneylender suggested a way to decide the matter. He suggested that he would put a black pebble and a white pebble into an empty money bag and then girl have to pick one pebble from the bag. Condition set was – If she picked black pebble the she would become moneylenders wife and farmers debt would be forgiven and If she pick white pebble then she does not need to marry moneylender and her fathers debt would still be forgiven. She wasnt left with option to refuse to pick a pebble as if she does so, then her father would be thrown into jail. On the day of decision all were standing on a pebble strewn path. As money lander proposed he bent over to pick two pebbles. As he picked pebbled, girl noticed that he had picked two black pebble and put them in the bag. Now, money lander asked girl to pick a pebble from the bag. Even after knowing the dirty trick of money lander girl had to pick pebble so, She put her hand into money bag and drew out a pebble. Without looking at it, She fumbled and let it fall on the pebble path where it immediately became lost among other pebbles. “Oh! How clumsy of me. Girl said. “But not to worry, if you look into the bag for pebbles left, you will be able to tell which one I picked.” after this money lender did not dared to admit his dishonesty by her quick thinking girl changed an impossible situation into extremely advantageous one.
Lesson: it’s always possible to overcome a tough situation through out of the box thinking, And not give in to the only option you think left.
In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. He then hid himself and watched to see if anyone would move the boulder out of the way. Some of the kings wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many people loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none of them did anything about getting the stone out of the way. A peasant then came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to push the stone out of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant went back to pick up his vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King explaining that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. Note, Every obstacle we come across in life gives us an opportunity to improve our circumstance, and whilst the lazy complain, the others are creating opportunities thought their kind heart, generosity and willingness to get something done.
One day for the first time, i was preparing fresh lime water. While preparing i ended up adding five time the lemon juice amount than it needed. Resulting lime water was disaster. It was so sour that no one could even take one sip of it. Now, i had to make it right anyhow. I wish if i could remove extra lemon juice from the water but some things can never be undone. There is no way to remove lemon juice from the water. So what is solution? The only way to correct it was to add four more glasses of water to the already made lime water and dilute the lemon juice to make five glasses of fresh lime water. Now, if we think about life it is same. Sometimes we do things which cannot be undone. Some wrong decisions, wrong choices, wrong doings, wrong actions can never be undone. So what is solution? When we cannot undo things and correct what ever wrong happened, we should not waste more time over it. It would be like trying to remove lemon juice from lime water. Instead, If things get wrong and cannot be undone then we should get busy in adding so many right things in our life that wrong seems insignificant. We all have negative sides to ourselves and we may not be able to correct all our negativities but we can definitely try to continue adding positive thoughts, actions, people in our lives and dilute negativity. We all have been through lows in our life and we cannot change that But if we add new highs in our life, we will be able to dilute lows. is not it? In the end Life will seem “Mostly High”. We all had mistakes in our life and have bitter memories but we can get busy making and adding new happy memories now. We should try to do a lot of good things and concentrate on making life more positive today so that we can dilute bad things which ever happened or done by us in past.
During the later part of his life, French Impressionist painter Claude Monet developed cataracts in his eyes which prevented him from seeing colors clearly. He tried various treatments to no avail. In 1923, at the age of 82, he opted to have the lens of his left eye completely removed. That’s when things changed.
Judging by the paintings he produced after the procedure, it may have enabled him to see ultraviolet light. This condition is not unheard of in people with aphakia (the absence of a lens in the eye), because the lens is what prevents us from seeing light in ultraviolet wavelengths. Birds, bees, and many other animals can see UV light. So in a way, you could say Monet was half-honeybee.

In spite of everything I shall rise again: I will take up my pencil, which I have forsaken in my great discouragement, and I will go on with my drawing because only you can handle your life. A moment I felt idle, and all I could think of is my pencil, drawing sheet, eraser, and my set-square.
The pencil is in your hand, so the ball is in your court. What have you got inside that heart of yours, show your talent to the world, show your creativity, and give it your best shot. Surely, their is always something in that place you thing you can only see the vanishing point.
That my life, my work, and work in progress.
